Default Mad Creatures - Circle Of Darkness

What's everyone think of Uberdruck's last effort? It has two mixes, one from DJ Shredda and one from DJ The Crow. I've noticed that in this track as well as Fat As **** there is acidy noises for the breaks... fair play.

I'm not sure which one I prefer out of the two mixes, the DJ Shredda one does offer a healthy alternative to the typical Uberdruck beat and feel.

It's a good tune, just hope that Uberdruck keep rolling to a newer sound... as they have so much potential.

Default hehe never new u had posted about it

lol i have done another post on the board about it i think the evil horn sound in the build up is amzing I have heard markeg play and uberdruck and it sounds amazing on a fat system but I agree that the shredda mix offers somethin diffrent but the crow mix is definatley the best
even though it kiks in the same like his other tunes I think he has gone that much darker with this track

I just baught this on saturday, I think it is awsome. Again which side. Anyone heard the DERB mix of Kai Tracid's Just 4 u on Tracid trax well worth a purchase. By the way I heard the Stimulant Dj's playing Uberduck 8 Speed the other night, strange choice for a hard house duo?

Rats! That's horrible news... although they are free to play what they want I guess I prefer hard house people to stick to there guns... espicially when a lot of hard house people claim trance is dead.

    Hmmm...

Stimulant Records used to be quite trancey (numbers 1-7), and when hardhouse became popular, they moved into that style. Now trance is back in vogue, they've started trying to get the hard trance sound (there's a GUYVER mix on the latest Stimulant). Begs the question, do they really love trance or is it all about the money?

It does hint that money is the influence which is being followed... they follow the money which follows the genres that are hitting big...

im a little bit concerned about the uberdruck sound i feel as though they are using the same techniques in alot of their productions. ie the messed up vocals with the same feel to them. also they seem slightly stuck in a formula. records with the same breakdown twice!!!!!

I do agree with you... but then again Uberdruck are slowly winding towards a different sound although I do think there are a lot similar productions comming through... The Speed was for me there best effort so perhaps collaberating with another producer should be on the cards for them to keep a fresher sound. Still, I love Uberdruck and I always have at least one of there tracks in mind when talking about the scene.

Mark Eg... ever thought of linking up production wise with Uberdurck???

    :)

You have no arguement there! Bloody Slut is my proud number 2 to The Speed.

what you think of Circle of Darkness and Fat As ****?

They have turned to the acidy feel for the main break I notice.

to be honest i have heard fat as **** but not circle of darkness ive been paying alot of attention to italian hard trance lately. labels like kickin tunes, gas europe, subway and dance pollution.i tend to use the odd uberdruck tune when winding down towards the end of a set

Circle of Darkness is very good... it has an alternate DJ Shredda mix which is very different to the Uberdruck one... the main bass for Circle Of Darkness is similar to Fat As ****/Bloody Slut but it goes for a acidy approach for the main break which I like.
