I just got a yamaha MG16. Nice mixer. A bit big to lug around to gigs though. If you want something for compact try the soundcraft. But i dont like mixers without faders. Catch 22. A mate of mine has the mackie onyx. Its an absolute ****ing beauty but would blow a massive hole in your budget.
