In this case, Brian Sleiter is my friend. I am sure he'd be more than happy to have someone playing his music out and/or charting it. I think playing a track for yourself or using it yourself in your sets is much different than trading the track across the internet. Over the course of the year I've found some unreleased tracks of mine on the internet that ARE coming out soon. They'll get pirated, I know this and its something you must accept, but it sucks when it happens before its out. The fact is, one of my "friends" (dont know who) is leaking these tracks out that I give them to play. Thats definetely not cool. So you see, there's a line between playing and supporting unreleased music from CDRs, and distributing it all over the net.
