Some of you may remember Convextion's fathoms deep set at The Rampant Lion last year, where a lucky 150 heads crammed into a tiny pub function room with a massive soundsystem for a thursday night to remember. This time we've caught Gerard for a cheeky friday night live slot before he heads down to play for the shandypants down at Fabric the day after.

We've also enlisted the considerable talents of former E-Bloc techno fiend Karl Roscoe to bring some machines and a fully loaded bag of dub techno specials for a rare Dex 'n FX set. Able DJ support comes from MCR's hardest working promoter Minty Stequence, and Faktion residents Jerk Van Den Boschalott and Maflannagan Skajellifetti will be flying in from Luxembourg on the night for an extra special 4th wave Benelux Shjack set. Schweet.

This is the first in a series of events to be a staged at the wicked SSR clubspace. Located just 5 mins walk from Oxford road this venue is MCR's best kept secret with a soundsystem touted by many as the best in the city, and a selection of cheap drinks prized by many because it's obviously better than paying £4 for a bottle of warm boz! Faktion will be bringing a vital selection of DJs and live acts to SSR's discreet rave hole over the coming months to help us reassert the sonic parameters of techno, house and dubstep for your dancing pleasure.

Capacity will be limited so if anyone would like an advance ticket or guestlist reservation give us a shout and we'll get ya sorted.
