    which platform Win or OSx?

what do you want to do with the sampler as well? Create your own patches i presume and/or load in AKAI sample patches???

just tying to narrow down the choices for you.

You could also check the Free VSTi/Plugs sticky at the top of this section?

mostly load wav files an mess them up abit but the more versitile the better would be nice if i could find one that loads akai files to just to add on extra dimention - at the moment i use the sampler mainly for rythem - making little bleepy noises and the like. i use windows xp - cheers
