    Default Calling all web designers!

Well I've just come of the phone with one of the UK's best techno producers (imo) and he needs a cool flash website designing. Nothing too complex - just something that gives him a good, exciting presence on the web.

He's willing to give either 150 releases to the person who does it or *gulp* studio time.

Is anyone out there interested? And have you got an examples of your work you can post on here to check out??

I'm a web designer, but I don't do flash (I think flash is not very user friendly) :)

that web site isn't very user friendly. why do I have to see the intro? i dont want that. also, i dont want to wait until that flash menu is loaded.

flash isn't bad at all if it's placed good, but that site wasn't designed for isdn users (not even half of the people got broadband these times), and maybe people also dont want to have sound turned on by default? a little flash player would be better, where the user can listen to sounds if he likes to (look at www.cl-rec.com which is done a littlebit better).

no it isnt ade at all, i just picked that site off the top of my head.

hmm.. i'm only assuming here that that's what he wants so let me get back on the case and ask him precisely.

ps yeah i like chris's site alot actually.

well his site isn't very spectacular, but it has all the infos on it you usually need (we call that information-based web sites). other web sites with huge flash intros and bad usability are called junk websites or entertainment websites.

Well I work with flash. I designed http://www.londontechno.co.uk, so I could do it to spec.

    Isolation is the gift.
Does anyone have courage to stand apart any more?
