    They pay silly amounts for these dumb ringtones when the same people won’t pay any money to download the whole song.

    nearly got a job at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios through my ex-girlfriends step mum. Probably should've stayed together :-S

    I'm a big fan of Passion: the Last Temptation of Christ soundtrack that he did. I've always respected the guy and liked what I have heard from him. Good read there.

    good article....thanks for sharing. I agree with a lot of what he's saying...although 60% of DL's for Radiohead's last joint is a bit concerning.


    I'm just glad the focus will eventually shift away from the "band in a box" mentality that Big Labels have been force feeding on the public lately...


    But at the same time...with aspiring producers jockeying for position in the indie markets and the world will be filled with a lot of garbage music. I mean....to me at least, it seems a lot harder to find good tracks this year....

    Yeah Passion is excellent it's one my fave albums by Peter Gabriel the Birdy soundtrack by him is also good
