Germany is a like a boogey team for england is seems, Shearer's goal was a great ice breaker and all the good play was on the side of the english.. but mentally that still wasn't enough evidently to finish off the rugged germans...

Was routing for england all the way... best penalty shootout I think ever - if ones judges by the quality of the kicks and the powerlessness of the keepers for the first 5 takers on both sides... Moller penalty stands out.. poor Gareth he seemed really unprepared and afraid...

    great game

thankfully i'm working:lol: The last decent friendly game we had was against Argentina, since then they've been bore fests with lots of overpaid players just going through the motions
