The first goal against Italy, where van Nistelroy was supposedly played on by an injured player who was off the pitch - how can he be considered active? Maybe it should have stood by the current laws of the game, but by common sense it shouldn't have stood.
They were only able to play their counter attacking football because they scored first - what if the other team scores first? They could do to Holland what Holland did to France and Italy and then people would be saying what - they're shit all of a sudden because they had a few goals put past them?
It's not like their defenders are the best, if they were stretched because they were chasing a goal they could very easily get torn apart themselves.
France out and they cant complain, it really aint been there tournament that's for sure....
It could of all been so different for Italy if Mutu had scored that penalty against them...

Yeh they were not themselves. Some tasty match-ups on the way though.
Russia vs Sweden 2:0,impressive performance by Russia..
POLITICALLY INCORRECT AND DAMN PROUD OF IT!!
very good result well done the ruskies.

HRVATSKA!
lol the trance has gone
russia deserved to win; we did not. but it wasn't a good game. russia looked fast, skilled and determined to get to the quarterfinals. we looked like we were playing a friendly or, worse, a "we're already through" garbage game.
barely half of our players were even running. no one except zlatan, henrik and freddie even tried to finish plays. this isn't a bloody friendly against norway, fellas, this is do-or-die! we died. disgrace.
but fair-dos to the ruskies, who did look impressive.

The law is not the private property of lawyers, nor is justice the exclusive province of judges and juries. In the final analysis, true justice is not a matter of courts and law books, but of a commitment in each of us to liberty and mutual respect. - Jimmy Carter
