I only say we needed more of the techno because we hardly ever here that sound in Plymouth and when it does come its so refreshing to hear. ;)

well this is wicked news. tell me something. as some one on the dancefloor - did you realise a chage of atmos for the better or for the worse when i went on on sat (re the techno). and what was the atmos like when i changed to trance? i get so scared that ppl dont understand the techno so i stick with it as much as i think ppl can hack it. but all i can see is from my stand point. i'm actually starting to see that the acadamy might be changing a little (but hey i await your response)

grrrr.. i wish i could dj and dance on the dancefloor at the same time!!!

    hahahahhaa

To be honest, I don't think the atmosphere changed... it stayed at a buzzing level from what I remember. I think in general people were more comfortable with the trance (as that's what they are used to) but the techno certainly went down well in my books... and I was actually dissappointed when it the style started to change! - but it was very good balance of music during your set and everyone I spoke to in there and afterwards was very impressed with what they heard.

Techno is much more welcomed in DA compared to this time last year, think it was too much of a shock for the majority but these days the crowed seem to much more appreciative and it certainly felt like people enjoyed the techno much more over all than previous times its been played. Good stuff... hopefully DA will embrace more of it if its perfomed like it was on friday by you!

MARK. The last time you came to academy before boxing day you played hard techno all the way through your set with a bit of hardstyle thrown in. In my opinion when you dropped in the lighter stuff on friday it was like whats mark doing this is the only chance we get to hear techno in Plymouth and you werent doing it. The people I where with were really understand techno and love it when you play it, so they were a bit dissapointed, hopefully next time you'll cane it for us!! ;)
