Default bass monster - tune i've done, comments appreciated!

    here is tune i've done..
has a big moving bassline, i dunno who/what to compare it to, cos i dunno many techno producers.
i'm after comments about structure & the such.
it's totally unprocesed (no eq, compression, reverb..blah etc..), so it gets mudded in the bottom end at times, suggestions on how to sort that would be nice too and what effects i could/should use (and in what order ).
just to point out, this is the first tune i've ever completed, so go easy on me.
    cheers,
    Chaz.

Thought the tune was pretty good actually, it would take me ages to tell you about all the eq'ing and compression that needs doing. So instead just follow the advice on this link, this really is the best thing you'll ever read on the subject of eq'ing compressing and mixing down.......

Good track although you need to condence it. the kick is mudding the bass slightly and around 4 . 25 there is some inharmonic clashes between the synth lines that might need addressing, but a good effort with it being your first tune, nice one ;)

what a fun track. Definately needs to be shortened a minute or so.

nice and minimal...sounds kinda like a march into battle...with all the snare rolls.

    keep it up!

had a go at improving sounds and that.. everything seems more defined but i'm still having a bit of trouble with the kick and bass line gettin messed up in the lower frequencies - if i take out too much sub bass from the kick , i lose punch but can turn it up a bit more - compressing seems to help, but i then get a high pitch thud, which dont like to eq out..
i also shortend it by a minute.
    anyways, here's the latest effort.
    cheers,
    Chaz..

its sounding better, have you tried compressing the kick and bass together
