Default Stand out Techno of the last 7 months

i have finally got my decks back up after about 7 months of gathering dust (brought a new deckstand) so im wondering what ive missed out on techno wise in this time. obviously the stand out label currently (imo) is token so ive borught a few, along with a bit of exium and some reeko who is really impressing me currently.

what else is out there? any recommendations?

no offense but the new smitten realease doesnt really interest me or my musical taste, so keep techno like this to yourself :)

    cheers

The new Token release, done by Phase, is superb as are the surgeon remix of Ed Chamberlain's Fixxy ep and the new release of Pojhola. There's been some great stuff recently, not huge amounts but i'd rather have quaility over quantity anyday.

Phase is killer. Token is killer :-)

There's not much other techno that's floated my boat in the last year or so, though...
I whip on horses at the rock jam sessions. I'm a rockstar.

Not all strictly techno but some releases from the top of my head. Ill write others when i get home.

    Go Hiyama - Geometrical
Super offebat dark techno. Think Radiohead-Ideoteqe with a darker twist. Comes with a strong surgeon remix also
    http://www.discogs.com/release/1308949

    Robert Hood- Hood Music 3
The master does it again. Cant fault anything on this.Hood has given a driving twist to the basic channel sound with "then we made our escape"
    http://www.discogs.com/release/1165762

    Dimitri Andreas - Tiger
Hard minimal stomper with an EPIC breakdown
    http://www.discogs.com/release/1294934

    Ø [Phase]* - Ryder's Return / At First Light
Deep, dark, melodic , rolling. spacey The usual stuff from phase. Techno how it should be.
    http://www.discogs.com/release/1346356

Orlando Voorn - The Truth Ep
the matador is a strong dark roller, whilst the a side has a more melodic vibe
    http://www.discogs.com/release/1076073

    Marcel Dettmann- Clime
Anything by Marcel or Ben Klock is shit hot. Deep club music for the post 6am crowd. Proper minimal techno. Raw dirty and should be played loud preferably in a warehouse!!
    http://www.juno.co.uk/ppps/products/314371-01.htm

    james Ruskin- The Dash
Solid stuff from James Ruskin. Hard, melodic, electronic and spacey. Something for everyone on here. Think... Grant mitchell having a quiet pint in the old vic before he gets into a fight, burns the place down and goes home for a quiet cup of tea to watch question time. Get Lahaine single for a super OVR remix!
    http://www.discogs.com/release/1309199

    Kerri Chandler - Computer Games
Perfect for lazy sunday afternoons. mariocart with a house beat!
    http://www.discogs.com/release/1293933

    Byetone-Plastic star
Clicks beeps and drones to great effect! Good sleeparchive remix on there too!Check his album "Death of a Typographer" for more of the same!
    http://www.discogs.com/release/1233652

Unknown Artist - Ugandan Speed Trials
Regis at his best. Hard, dark offbeat techno. Superbly mastered at Dubplates and mastering berling to really bring out the elements. Quite a loud pressing also.

Ok, my recommended and recent purchases from DS2 are:

    http://www.ds2shop.co.uk/product_inf...as-tiger-token
As mentioned above, absolute killer track.

    http://www.ds2shop.co.uk/product_inf...-token-special
Super lush Phase release. To be fair, Token's such a good label you need all the releases to date IMO.

    http://www.ds2shop.co.uk/product_inf...rasites-nheoma
Ace four track EP. The B-side tracks are superb.

    http://www.ds2shop.co.uk/advanced_se...ords=inceptive
Also picked up the Inceptive Records back catalogue

New(ish) Audio Assault, Arms, Dinner Records & Emergence releases are great. :)

    http://www.ds2shop.co.uk/product_inf...audiosculpture
    Amazing four tracker.

    http://www.ds2shop.co.uk/product_inf...audiosculpture
    Another top release on Audiosculpture.

    http://www.ds2shop.co.uk/advanced_se...s=BEATBUTCHERY+
Both releases in stock on Beatbutchery are top notch.

And Boss's Dolegate releases and his Planet Rhythm release.

    http://www.ds2shop.co.uk/product_inf...-planet-rhythm
Good double pack of fat tracks.

Both these Radial releases are cool:

    http://www.ds2shop.co.uk/product_inf...-planet-rhythm

Anything on Cache, Zwart and this one on Bound is killer: http://www.juno.co.uk/ppps/products/299311-01.htm
