The JOY special Friday night summer party is to be held at fantastic My House (formerly stinkys peephouse) Leeds on Friday July 11th

This club has recently had a full refurbishment and is regarded as one of the best in leeds. It also boasts a awesome Funktion one sound system.

As ever we will be pushing forward with a diverse selection of Techno / Detroit Techno and electronical music for those who know the difference...

Sticking with our ethos of originality we once again bring an exclusive line up of djs including two UK Debut sets.





Carl Falk from Stockholm, Sweden takes to the Joy Technics with his UK debut...
Currently; the music Carl creates is funky and fast. Tough beats are mixed with funky elements and basically any percussion from around the world. The mixture of elements creates firm tracks aimed at the DJ and dance floor.
This comes naturally with his dj style which is based around three decks, efx and clever mixing.
Track wise, the selection includes tribal cuts and harder techno as well as more diverse tracks to keep the sets interesting.
His unparalleled productivity has resulted in numerous EP:s including the successful Entry EP, the Pirate Audio 008 Trilogy and remixes for artists like Cave and Dejan Milicevic. Carl’s recent work has gained the interest from various DJs from around the world. Some of the record labels he is involved in include, HzTrax, Adult Recs, Patterns, MHX, and ZyncGrooves.

Also on his UK Debut is another great up and coming DJ / producer and budding club event promoter, Joton will be making the trip from, Leon, Spain.
He has been producing some really great tracks lately and he is one DJ we are very much looking forward to hearing play at JOY, info is sketchy on this man as he speaks very little English but the all important thing is his music !
