Default Subotic - Burn It Slow EP

Subotic - Burn it Slow EP out now!

Milenko Subotic, born in Serbia, is one of those upcoming talents that is really bringing some fresh air to our beloved techno scene. Since his debut on Kill Brique this guy has been pretty busy producing and working his way up the scene. He's released so far a wide variety of records, from moody Detroit inspired stuff to straight up techno stompers. His talent was spotted by Orlando Voorn, who had him to remix techno anthem "Game One", by Voorn and Juan Atkins. His releases so far are big with heavyweights suck as Garnier, Christian Smith, Remute, Silicone Soul and many others. On this release, Subotic explores the new ways of techno without forgetting where all this came from, delivering two tracks that will delight techno lovers and will break apart dancefloors all over the world. Side A comes with "I'm Sure", and yes, we are sure about it. The huge analogue bass keeps growing and growing along some proper techno drums and a deep dark voice that adds some extra tension to this true dance floor killer. "Slow Burner" on side B is still strong but with a deeper vibe. Stomping and atmospheric, grooving and moving, dark and elegant, all times straight techno with Subotic's distinctive sound. We love techno.

    DJ Feedback:

Billy Dalessandro: "i love the vocal in 'i'm sure', pumping acid track. this has a nice oldschool techno vibe, very in-tune with Tresor releases in their best moments back in the day! 'slow burner' is a good techno tool-like track, with a nice deep touch in the middle by the time the break hits."

Jorge Savoretti: "I like Slow Burner, super trippy and driving!" Davide Squillace: "Slow Burner does it for me"

Leandro Gámez: "I think that this is the most effective release on DDL alongside Scattered Communication, in other words: FANTASTIC. Gonna be in my playlist till mp3 is obsolete."

Luis Ortiz aka LOD: "Viva el techno!!! Slow Burner is my favourite, but on a big sound system I'm Sure rocks the party!!"

Luciano Esse: "Amazing tracks, as usual!! DDL one of my favourite labels ever!! Keep on rocking!!!"

RBK (Le Chic): "I'm Sure!!! I'm sure I'll play it :)"

Franco Cangelli: "Slow Burner is up my alley! Mental techno for those trippy moments on the dancefloor!"

Tony Blunt: "Good Release!! Slow Burner is my fav, dark and sweety at the same time. I will play it for sure... thanks for sharing"

So. Behind their eyes the hope in them was sickening, and in many, dead. They lived from event to event with a subtle terror of the gap between, filling up their lives with distractions to avoid the emptiness where curiosity should have been, and breathing a gasp of relief when the children passed the point of asking questions about what life was for.
