    COUNTERPART
    -------------------
Towards the end of 2003 Dimi Angelis joined up with talented Dutch artist Jeroen Search to produce two EP's for Steve Rachmad's new Scorp sub-label "Ion". In 2005 Dimi and Jeroen released two EPs on the Dutch label Audio Sculpture.

Crowning the success of their previous releases, they teamed up once again towards the end of 2005 to produce "The Martian Mystique" EP on Jeff Mills' label Mission (6277/Axis) soon followed by a solo ep by Jeroen also on 6277. Since then there's followed a steady stream of superb Detroit tinged & Sci-FI flavoured minimal techno releases on Oscar Mulero's label Warm Up, another release on the superb dutch label Audiosculpture and more recently the global bomb "Project 2302" on Kombination Research which was a collaboration ep between The Advent and Counterpart.

Dimi Angélis & Jeroen Search have put together a dynamic/energetic Counterpart live show complete with a Roland 909 and plenty of hardware, this is no laptop live set - The boys made their live debut at the legendary Rex Club in Paris back in January 2007 which was later followed by a performance on the Detroit stage at arguably the world's leading techno event, Awakenings in the Westergasfabriek in Sept 2007 where they played alongside Jeff Mills, Rob Hood, DJ Bone, Derrick May....

This will be their first appearance in the UK and to say we're looking forward to it would be a huge understatement. Hope to see you there.
