Makes such a difference to general enjoyment of production, not having to bang your head against a wall trying to get a polished, final sound. Much more satisfying to reach a natural finish point, then leave the polishing up to the mastering dude.
That really sums it up for me. Allthough that doesn't mean i always know when and where to stop. The longer you make your own music the more you start to understand why somebody else should be mastering your tracks, i reckon.
