There are actually room ratios that are more ideal than others, but basically a room that's got sides and ceil heights that are dead similar will have problems, but if the room is exactly twice as long as it is high for example you'll still get problems.

Make sure you know where your problems are when you mix so you don't compensate for them with your mix.
