    I'd go for Atkins/Model 500.

Check Important records and then tell me that. Pretty sure I also read an interview with them when they credit the euro scene. Why do people think acid techno is only made in London?

yeah, its 303 aicd trance but as a long term producer and listener to (london style) acid techno, i can see MAJOR differances. ok the structure may be similiar in certain instances but thats the same of a lot of techno. other than that the only similarities are 303's. you need to look beyond the sounds and start listening to the feel of the music. tracks like kektex "lock" were unheard of b4.

    you did. wax magazine 96/97

ohh good one. you come on spouting an opinion but if someone else has a differant one and backs it up with an supportive arguement then they're "the fount of all knowledge"

ever think of the possibility of differing opinions? or is this the "speed-it-up's opinion only" thread?

I don't find your argument persuasive, sorry. Of course you are entitled to an opinion. You were the one who was positng all the laughing smilies at my opinion in the first place, thinking I was talking about R&S records. You then significantly changed what you were saying. Giving it the large about being a producer/dj just makes you come across a bit twattish really. Carry on.

no-one said you had to - its not a contest, its a discussion.

thinking I was talking about R&S records
you never explained who you were talking about so i used the two examples that came from the very same wax article you spoke about.

never gave it the "large" buddy - stated a fact, no more differant to you
I dj'ed this stuff to death
and i laughed because i thought it was funny comparing the two.
but obviously you cant argue this without resorting to personal insults.. so carry on yourself.
