Great music but packaged corporate rebellion message. They are one of the biggest reasons Che Guevarra t-shirts are sold in trendy mall shops now. The made rebellion popular with the frat boys. They played something like 5 shows before they were signed to a major label and started bitching about "big business". They made one of the biggest political murderers in the Americas a pop culture hero. It's a shame their music is so good, because I would love to hate them.

they've done three albums to my knowledge, the first one, then Evil Empire which was released in '96, then Battle for Los Angeles in '99 i think

the first two are absolute classics, basically the sound track to my youth, and Evil Empire, in my opinion, is a contender for the best album of all time, incredibly well crafted music

not sure why but i just didn't connect with the third album, i think i gave my copy away actually, years back
