I use either the Free Hi-Q recorder or Soundforge. But the free one does the job for tapes as the quality aint always that good anyway so 96kbps is ok.

The wee program is pretty self explanetary. Just select "Line-In" in the options, pick a name for the file and press record! :cheese:

get cool edit - completely fool proof & more uses than just recording mixes/tapes. you can then edit them etc.

it is very straight forward to use. same idea as fruity loops.

there are some good guides on you tube explaining how to use it. I have just discovered refill packs as well.
