Default [review] ARMAB 008 Elements EP [Armatura Records]

Fresh 4 tracker EP on Armatura Records.

    Andy B - Sonar sample
A swirling min ranged lead with doubled up beats powering into the solid, strictly dancefloor track. The breakdown is like a galloping bloodthirsty horse.

Concrete DJz - Beyond Recognition sample
Sharp hi-hats ripple across the ebbing beat. A track that keeps on building and layering itself up. Chunky and hypnotic

    Distek - Dingy Folk sample
Hard, compressed and direct. This is dark warehouse Techno... and I love it.

    Tadox - Dancing Queen sample
Saving the best for last. My pick of this mighty fine collection of tracks. Sounds like Hawtin's Orange/Yellow track of the mid 90s. After having a course of anabolic steroids. Dark, heavy, jacking with awesome percussion and drum programming.

Well recommended if you likes you Techno full on. Concrete DJz recently featured on the MANTIS showcase (our 21st show) and provided a storming mix of hard and dark beats.

Heres another review by Miss Kosmix:

    ʽDingy Folkʼ

A great spacey percussive track with hooking synth line by F.A.T. Collectiveʼs well established producer Distek

    ʽSonarʼ

This track shows excellence from Slovakiaʼs Andy B with a put-your-dancefloor-gear-on-and-prepare-to-take off vibe
that rolls off the filter games while the drums and percussions perform through the killer bassline. Jackpot hit

    ʽDancing Queenʼ

Hailing from Germany, Tadox brings a worthy element of attack to this ep with a blasting track

    ʽBeyond Recognitionʼ

A quality deep techno track by Serbiaʼs infamous Conrete Djz grinding its way through the dancefloor

    Patrick DSP (US)

Andy B - Sonar - a psychedelic galloping caravan of beats. Full on head **** floor filler! // Concrete Djz – Beyond Recognition - What you come to expect from the Concrete Djz; no nonsense techno groove with big bass and bigger percussion. // Distek – Dingy Folk - A massive track here! Loving the psychedelic under tones here but combined perfectly with a massive kick that makes my balls hurt. // Tadox – Dancing Queen - The advent style techno on speed. Defiantly a peak time track!! A really good release! Thanks guys
