Bit harsh on Cally&Juice as i've heard them on tape and actually enjoyed their sets. Mixing was decent, pretty fast and in and out of the tunes quickly, not the best technically though. Tune selection - touch and go.
Drop some really good tunes, Uplifting and Euphoric but then can let themselves down by dropping 'somewhat' cheesey or Hard House influenced tunes. On the whole, though, enjoyed them as they kept the pace going throughout.
I heard them scratchin' aswell on the tape, and it sounded sweet and built-up the energy (not sure who it was) but defintlety had some good scratchin skills which is good to hear in an Hard Trance tape.
yeah no one seemed to be sticking to wether or not is was your fave hardstyle djsOriginally Posted by Si the Sigh

i have not herd a lot of them to be honest but about a year ago they were not really hardstyle dj's what so eva. if im right they used to play hardhouse sort of hard trance mixture! more comercial stuff anyway! maybe they have come into the scene a bit over the last but there still a bit iffy to me !?!?!
they cant be that bad, i mean people must love them cause they would not be were they are today!!
i just dont think there tune selection is all that good, well to be honest poor!![]()
sorry just my thoughts.
as for them scratching it aint that bad, but dj wragg is the kiddie if you want to lissen to that!!!! ;)
I will say it's teallt the last year / 18 months that I've really got into them...... especially the last 6 months........
I think hardstyle really suits their style, even though they don't play much of it down in London, but they've been signed up by Nukleuz......play Frantic, Crasher, Ministry etc all the last 6 months.......it's the underground slammin hardstyle/hardtrance that they play best IMHO
and some of their skills and tricks have really come on.......
True...they ain't master scratchers compared to specialists.......but when u see juice scratch9in with his feet, or pulling b-boy windmills on the decks, or see cally scratchin with hands on eother decks.....juice holding the mixer over him cuttin between the 2 decks with the xfader........
they put on a wicked show...........and defo pull tricks I've never caught any other dj's doin............
Anyone here actually caught em recently??
I know Mark has, bein BIonic resident (nice set on Fri BTW...who was on the phone exactly?? ) ......
i aint actually herd them of late mate so i cant comment on current status but i did 3 or 4 months ago!Originally Posted by Andy__C
they may be able to pull of all these tricks and fancy stuff but at the end of the day when im there in a club that dose not matter at all really.
there are good im not saying there not cause they have a big name for themselves, just there tunes dont do it for me at all. its more like i know this one i bought 3, 4, 5, 6 months ago.
its djs like mark eg for example when you lissen to him hes full of new sounds and unpridictable insane stuff!!! its the tracks that brings that extra large grin to your face when your in a club and you real go for it!! that impresses me!!!
just my opinion tho

Am in massive agreement with ya.......at the end of the day it's all about the music.........
I jus like the other stuff too.........am a big fan off tunrtablism and far-out tricks and stuff though.....hence why catchin em do that sorta stuff can send me nuts.....
