Nice and tidy set up mate  , one question though, how do you mix with the speakers on the floor? or do you move them when your mixing?

a couple of pics of my back room, all my records are in boxes out of shot though

It's the worst bedroom set-up I've had for sound when serious mixing......
u miss a lot as the speakers fire underneath and way from you, s'not that bad for day to day use though

it's also the smallest room I've had in 4yrs of sharing with mate's..... gets faaaaar too bassy some-time's

if ya check the last pic a may see a 120w Technics speaker next to the PC monitor, that get's pulled out onto the desk (My amp has 4 speaker outputs) when recording mixes..........or not pissing of my house-mate's

I used to have it as a proper monitor on a wall bracket in me last house, but the current landlord ain't jiggy for me drilling into the wall

It'll be nice if I ever get my own place to have a proper music room, all set-up properly

im the same as you andy ive tried loads of decks in different places and my pdx2000 pissed on em all.
technics are way cool but i just love the feel of the vestax. so versatile and strong at the same time.

im gonna have to get some pics of my setup on here,
    give me 30mins

    some pics of my gear,
just took them and the quality is quite crap because of the web cam.
pics include the vestax umx9 mixer, kaoss pad, screen, carillon comp, records and my shades.

recomened by mr steinberg himself

ther used to be a firm called equalize audio that disappeared all of a sudden, they were bloody excellent too. i was going to get a new build from them this year but its going be a little difficult now, reckon i might use carillon also

    carillon are the absolute bollocks.
i really reckomend them to everybody, i mean everyone.
i did hve one problem though,
they are equiped with a very helpful recovery system which restores your computer to how it was when it got sent out to you.
this require a recovery file on the hard drive, mine wasnt there so im just waiting for one to come in the post now,

apart from that they are ace,
