    Default rory delap throws

nightmare for defence if he plays but some people thinks its wrong and want the ball to bounce outside the box off a throw what you think i think its a great thing to have for stoke and should be allowed

footballs all about playing to your strengths and if this is what stoke have to do,then fair enough.
theyd probably be doing a derby if they hadnt used this tactic.

if it keeps stoke up,they wont care.tranmere had davie channlor who was the first that i know of who was talked about the long throw bein a weapon,it nearly won us the worthy cup in 2001.they use to have towels to wipe the balls for him but they got banned it.they use to stop the throw or try to stop it by standin right in front of the thrower

Hmmm, saying it has to bounce outside the area would be an interesting rule! Mind you, I wouldn't mind if Arsenal had someone like that, as long as you're not one dimensional and rely solely on it, it's ok I guess.

rather than trying to work the ball up the centre of the park though there just gonna be running it into the corner trying to win throw ins in the opponents half!!

I think it's fine, lots of teams have players who can put a throw in into the box, i know we have a player called Tommy Spurr who can do it, but Delap is unbelievable, he pings them in better than anybody i've ever seen.
