posting this on behalf of a mate:
mixer has distorted output through master and booth, its not the leads/speakers, so must be somethin internal. checked everything he can think of.
any ideas why?

vinyl, both channels had same results..
the fx work fine, everything else is fine, just for some reason it farts like nobodys business.

It sounds like you have an earthing issue, either with the deck side or the mixer side. My advise would be to take her in for a service.

sorted.
my mates a plum, his stanton t80s have a switch on the underside next to the phono input, for selecting line or phono output, for some reason they were on line.
