Robbie williams, publicly announced that he thinks Piracy, is "Cool"..
Lookin more towards our scene in general and the uses of the internet to download music, do you think it can benefit Dj's more to be able to do this, or will it make all the has been classics or new releases which are downloadable to MD/CD/mp3 oblique..
The reason i say this is, anyone can have there own "secret website", were they get there own choice of music from and not tell anyone about.. (Yer right) but do you think it should be right for his mate lets say to be able to access a website I.E. audiogalaxy and download the same track onto CD and then play it at an event or somethin along those lines.....
Even though the bloke with the secret supplier has scoured the country looking for a shop like this, and has found his own unique Set/Sound, only for a geek to come along and F**k it up..
It just does'nt seem right that, this can happen so easily..
For instance am trying to get hold of a copy Book of revelations for about 1year.. If i had a Minidisc/Mp3/PC and a Cdplayer, i could probaly download, it in no time and be playing it in my sets... Enuff of the wobblin on..
My question is:
whats the future for Vinyl, If music is so easily accesible through the internet?
Your views anyone..
P.S. One more thing does'nt it take away the value of an old record, if its so easil accesible through the net, or even repressed, sometimes this gets on NIPS!!!"!!!
