Unfortunatly running the label with the blackout name attached and keeping control of it ourselves is not an option anymore anymore. Mark has business reasons for this decision and we have to respect them.
i would suggest, on chris RDR's advice, that we go back to the original idea of a non-commercial net label for the first few releases until we build up some momentum. the idea of being just another digi label doesnt appeal to me and if some of you knew the sales figures for most new digi labels you'd understand.
if we go with chris' idea it means between all of us we can promote the hell out of the promotional releases and try build up a following. if things look good after a while then we can go commercial.
we are currently at the stage where we are ready to get the first release mastered. we will have a tracklist very soon and will be asking for full wavs off those involved.
with that in mind i'd like to hears ideas, thoughts and suggestions.
remember that this is our label, and to make it work we need input from you.
ps. my apologies to anyone that has put in the work so far on the assumption that we were using the blackout name. i know some of you put the time in and i know its cheeky asking for it again under a differant name but our hands are tied.
thanks
