I used 123reg.co.uk for my domain although heart internet seem a little cheaper

Hosting is handled by Hostgator i pay 8usd a month for 100gb of space and 500gb of bandwidth. loads of subdomains, emails, DBs etc etc http://www.hostgator.com/shared.shtml

not had a problem with hostgator at all. Good stuff.
