Hi mate Love this. Have uploaded to DataTransmission, will post a link on DSI: After an excellent debut EP, it feels like an eternity has past since the last release on Atmosphere UK. Finally however, the label spawned from one of the South Coasts most successful hard dance nights is back with 2 more tracks of total dance floor destruction. The first one here is Db Shredaz – Escape. Starting with a now trademark kick with plenty of reverb and rides, the layers of percussion build nicely, supported but a chopped, swirling synth. A typically large, off beat bass resides under this track, giving it a very hard and aggressive feel, before a very well worked pitch and FX sequence takes the tune into a very psychedelic breakdown, complete with what sounds like some seriously time stretched acid, subtle pads and bells. The main riff fades up slowly, and whilst it does have an element of Hardstyle to it, it’s still uplifting enough to work in the context of the track. It doesn’t last very long, which would be my only real gripe, coming home at a shade over 6 minutes. But what is here truly is class A stuff that has absolutely destroyed the dance floor every time I drop it. Quite simply, if you like your Hard Trance Germanic, then you’ll love this! // Log: One is, for me, one of the most underrated Hard Dance producers in the UK today. With only a relatively small discography compared to some in the scene, there is no one out there who can boast such a rate of quality over quantity for me; and this is just another shining example as to why. Teaming up with south coast DJ and promoter DJ Wragg, the two have produced what has to be one of the tracks of the year so far. Starting with a groovy yet dark intro, the acid stabs seem to get more distorted as you go, before a wickedly nasty lead has a short intro, followed by a drop of immense proportions. A massive off beat (and very German) bass takes centre stage; at least until the sickest of 303’s is unleashed, which drops perfectly into the breakdown via some excellent bit crushing skills. The breakdown cant really be described, other than is has some excellent use of white noise, a great sample of Will Smith that’s been stolen from the film I Am Legend (I knew there was a reason they made that shit, so these guys could rape it for samples!), and a totally killer riff. One of the best and most original tracks I have heard this year, if ever. I’ll be caning this for sure, and I suggest you do the same! 10/10
