    Default Robert Hood

Anyone else think this guy is one of the heroes of techno. I think he should be up there alongside the likes of Mills, May, Hawtin etc when it comes to defining pioneers in techno.

Just listening to some of his old sets, he defines minimalist techno, how it should be. Stripped down intense beats with that extra edge to it and doesn't make it bland.

Should deffo get booked in the UK more. Hes's only played over here a handful of times.

i remember hearing Hood at a tribal gathering once when we either stood in for, or played at the same one as Mills. I loved his sound! His early Tresor album takes pride of place in my collection. What a sound this man has...

    Minimal techno rocks...
