It has absolutely no guts at all, it`s very old and thin.

    AudioRealism Bassline is the one

All 303`s on this ep were audiorealism

The actual 303 itself is thin out the box untill you mess it up..... Take a rebirth 303 line, buss it out and throw it through some outboard distortion pedals and you have some wickedly amazing acid!!! IMHO :)

?? no it aint! its as fat as ****. the low end is just pure bubbly warmth.

i did a test here before and threw an original 303 and a few emulations thru an outboard fender frontline pedal and the differances were huge. closest thing was ABL followed by the d16.

Although every single 303 has a different sound, they are never thin.
They are called 303 bassline, and I`ve never heard one that sounds thin, one of my mates has an original, as new condition 303 and it sounds lovely and solid, anothe rmate of mine has 4!! and 1 devilfish, he kept buying them to get one with a particular sound the nutter, none of them sound thin either.

Fun, and free... OK no VSTness so you'll have to record it, but it makes some crazy sounds...

Why are so many people so obsessed with perfectly emulating a 303 anyway...
