Default [DBG 003] - Shadow Magick ep - Le Solitaire

Out now, featuring the music of a good friend of mine, Jacque M

For the 3rd DBG release we have slowed things down and fallen into the warm arms of dub. Le Solitaire provides 4 monumental dub-house cuts here for our listening pleasure. Le Solitaire has been a long time friend of Dirty Bass for some time, a master of studio techniques and black magick, well reknown in the south of france for his underground parties in châteaux, forests and places of mystique, he has finally been pursuaded to bring his magick to a record label. All these 4 tracks have a truly deep and lush sound harking back to the great days of Basic Channel era dub. Gorgeous production and massive dream inducing soundscapes, mixed with infectious grooves mean this debut ep will surely guarantee labels chasing up this man for more output.

    Solitary by nature.
    Isolation is the gift.
Does anyone have courage to stand apart any more?

The label has never had a producers name on the front cover

No, I used the name Le Solitaire with Jacque on a few releases, some of which were on an ep with Jays stuff.

But Jacque has the name all to himself now that I have finally pushed the guy to do something on his own.

He`s sorting out a myspace page supposedly at the mo, I`ll link it up when he does, there`s some good tunage coming from him.

Well, when designing for digital, the artist name comes up on the tracks at the stores so you don`t need to plaster their name across the front like vinyl.
My DBRecords covers are the same.
Cheers, I love the music, I`m gonna make sure there`s more of it out soon.

Such goodness. "Sweet and Low" is blowing me away.

    A classic i'd say.
