**Seeing as this is the DJ section, I have an idea**

Had a bit of an Idea, not sure how many people would be up for it but who's on for a "Your take on Minimal/Acid/Techno" mix off?

3 Mixes each, winner gets bragging rights (Unless any of the mods have the power to do owt else?)

1) Minimal mix
2) Techno mix
3) Acid mix

We whinge and moan about different genres, I know I do, lets throw it aside and see your take on it.

Who's on for it?

okay so 3 seperate mixs , only problem i dont have any minimal techno and I wud just bored of mixing it within seconds ha ha sorry danny not feeling this i cud do acid , techno , schranz(hardtechno)

sounds good like, got some minmal all on cd though need to borrow by mates cdj for the minimal mix, only got 1 cdj myself at the moment

gotta use your imagination man. This is a chance to step out of your comfort zone. I know what you can do, what I want to see is what you don't do but if you did this is how it would sound.

just give me time danny, im well up for the minimal mix, im gonna get hold of some equipment god knows how but i will.

i spent a lot of time and money last year on some fantastic minimal.

as said early ill be up for it, but the miniml i will play is Swedish techno like hardcell and grinvik/adam beyer thats how mininiinmainminmininmal ill go

loving this!! I aint even listened to my records for some years now and this has given me the opertunity and incentive to get onto all sorts of stuff I never even rearlised I had!!

I have 2 nice piles for techno and acid but my minimal pile contains 3 records lol

I am going to have to get creative with the minimal, oh hang on!! its minimal - doh! :)

Edit - So inspired by this I am, I have just got myself a new mixer!!

banged it on the credit card lol
