i have to go with dj misjah & dave the drummer
both consistently good
both always have a trick or two up their sleeve
i can go and buy a record from either of these producers without a listen and know i will be satisfied

producer of rock music: martin hannett. not because of skills but because of that signature sound.
techno producers: too many to mention, but a few that i've found consistently gratifying are:
cari lekebusch
basic channel
the martian
rob hood
joel mull
joris voorn
