ramos was part of balloonheads and did "jaw to the floor" on smitten. he's not rowland. he originally came from a hardcore background.

    This is correct. /\
Ramos played a full acid techno set at one of the hardcore heaven raves I went to in the 90s, and was involved in the Balloonheads, who also had a couple of releases of their own label, quite decent. He often slipped a bit of techno or acid in his 'appy ardcore sets too.

Think Hyde might be Mr Hyde who has released cheese alongside the mighty Dj Dougal on labels like essential plantinum.

yeah ramos is the old hardcore geezer from helter skelter
and hyde was his mate who I didn't know but i would imagine he was doing the same.
we just did the one track , they were really into acid techno for a bit
and then they vanished , not sure what became of them.
they did a bunch of tracks with guy for a couple of years
i was at the tail end of it all.

Ramos playing a set full of Smitten records in the Sanctuary plus a few pink callies was great fun.
