Default Something that just occurred to me...

Quite a worrying thought really, especially to those who believe that hardstyle would never go commercial - the mix of Kernkraft 400 - Zombie Nation that was extremely popular in 2000, was a remix by Dj Gius. Dj Gius, for those who don't know, is also known as...

Bloody Hell... I remember that track well but I had no idea Dj Guis was involved with it!

    Shocking stuff.

its quite common for decent producers to make tat for money tho....

theres a few examples of dutch gabber djs doing commercial trance that ive been told - ie Miro was part of 3 Drives on a Vinyl
Also Ive been told the trance producers Ratty are Scooter

of course it may all be lies :)

Ratty = Scooter is very much a fact! They've made some great tracks under that alias too, so it proves that they are talented producers, they just enjoy making the cheesy stuff.

its a good idea really. if you want to make underground music there is obviously not as much money in it as commercial stuff, so if youve got the equipment why not make a piece of cheesey crap under a different name an get a wallet full of cash for it.
our scene doesnt get touched & you get to make money off the very things we are working against, brilliant!!

....plus you get to laugh at the talentless Djs who are raving about the piece of garbage you have just created. 1 for the underground there. :P

Zombie Nation was not made as a money maker, make no mistake - he produces under dj Gius quite regularly, check out tracks like 'De-Generation' and 'Overcharge', which is on Titanic! It was just one of his remixes which struck a chord with the majority of the population.
My point is, if that one did, there's not much to stop it happening with another of his tracks.
