    Default SoundForge 9.0 Recording Problem

For some reason when im recording on soundforge 9.0 its only recording through the left channel when recording in stereo.

    Anyone help?

Ps - Ive tried recording from different sources (mixer, cds player ) etc so the source doesnt seem to be the issue.

either a channel on your interface is dodgy, or you're somehow engaging a pan on the way in.

check if your interface records stereo into anything else. if not then get it fixed or get a new one.

no you cant convert to stereo. all you'd have is the same information on both sides. your soundcard is broken and needs to be repaired or replaced.

Check the monitor in the recorder in soundforge.
Are both channels reading on the meter?

Check your input selection on the soundforge input selector within the record window. Have you selected the stereo in or stereo monitor in?
