NOISE NETWORK: Resource pooling - contacts, promo websites, email lists etc

Hi all

The BOA label project "noise network" is about to launch with our first release - and wanted to know if people could help share resources and knowledge

Basically we need to map out all the relevant music forums, portals and distribution points, people we can submit press releases to, friendly dj peoples who are up for giving some reactions etc. Any resources and info you have that will help promote the release much appreciated - this is a community project for the benefit of people here so would be great if we could pool our knowledge

Will get a noisenetwork website knocked up, downloads will probably be from my or bloodstar's (if still happy to do this) server so we can track downloads properly. If anyone knows decent ways to track downloads beyond server stats this would be very helpful.

Other promotion sites gratefully received - appreciate that people might not be happy to share their email lists but if people would be happy to promote the release to their own network of contacts that would also be great.

All work will be protected under creative commons licence.

I asked Steve privately what he thought of my mix, as Jay said he was doing the mastering duties.
