I find delays on kicks too unwieldy
If you want rolling kicks then program them in and use velocity to control the levels of the various kicks.

I am not here but my ghost still lingers
laughing man..do u mean raise the volume/ or velocity knob so that every other kick is slightly louder or softer then the previous.. like A - - - a - - - A - - - a - - -

something like that but with four or five kicks? should i put some sorta tail on them ?
does any1 use fruity loops? is POGO a delay? can any1 explain CRF crossfade loop? and TRIM silence trimming threshold? all under precomputed effects in the channel settings ..im using fruity 8

wow works like a charm! ...no delays needed at all i think now..how many kicks layered is about average..and what are some good techniques to get them to sit well together..have one for lows one for mids and one for highs etc? is 3 too little is 10 too many? etc..
