For the 4th Singularity release, themed around the dark and solitary path of the manifestation of True Will, we are proud to have the diabolically talented Smear. After what we consider to be the finest crafted techno release of 2008, the seminal track: Transect on the label Forward Strategy Group, we simply had to get some music from this guy. What he has provided us with surpassed our expectations. 3 tracks of a forboding menace, with a ritualistic, tribal nature that you could expect to hear echoing out through the catacombs holding host to some sinister secret society rituals. The effect leaves your mind SMEARED with blackness.
We also have 2 tracks by Voidloss, crafted to match the theme of the ep and in tune with the sinister ritualistic tones of the music of Smear. Both tracks feature a lot of machinery and mechanical noises gathered from field recordings, adding a high tech edge to what are essentially dark meditative mantras, designed to make the body move with or without the consent of the owner

Have been a full on fan of Smear since day one, as you know, so this is pretty damn the coolest collaboration out there on the releases schedule for this month - - which certainly is reflected in the Juno chart there... proper

Have posted this on ma site n tis looking cool... London Techno ...well apart from the editor on there can be a bit of an asse at times ( as in the software, not me!! :briggin:), so the last para wouldn't split up... bah
