    maybe it is controversial.

however gunjack is putting a lot of techno out on vinyl which is something im happy about, whats the problem with that?

Gunjack makes good techno on vinyl.

    end of.

is that controversial enough for you?

is it gunjack month in here or something?

every week some post pops up and it usually ends in slagging off, dirty linen, bannings etc..

Personally i dont bother getting involved, but im posting now...so i guess i am?

Not really heard a lot of his stuff apart from stuff with matt k

i did buy consume 01 at weekend though....good stuff, il give him that.

not sure what you mean by "last," dy. you saying there aren't any others or that there won't be? or are you just being prosaic in your admiration for the man's recent output?

well i just don't see these days where techno is going.

a few artists doing experimental stuff on mp3 release.

the stuff i used to buy is basically disappeared now on vinyl.

the only person who is consistently putting techno on vinyl is Gunjack, and his output and the quality of it seems to be increasing.

the guy gets shit all the time. and trolled and baited, and gets little recognition by his peers, (not that i consider myself his peer btw).

well yes tbh. to my embarrassment the SUF stuff that i once thought was 'alternative'. Sure i've broadened my horizons, i like a lot of tech house and melodic stuff in my dotage.
i still don't get dubstep, that doesn't mean it's shit, i just don't get it, even though i may say it is 'shit'.

it`s fairly obvious that darkie aratron is slipping back into the same baiting troll behaviour that got him perma banned before.
The sign posts aren`t exactly subtle.

it`s not hard to follow the pattern.

But yeah, I like one of the Gunjack tracks from Consume. The rest is all so so for me anyway.

Personally I think Gunjack is not the Last Techno Hero.
In fact I think that is preposterous statement.

There is so much fresh and great top notch techno out there now.

Some of it from peeps from this board such as

    Jay Pace
    Casual Violence
    Siege
    Tony Silver
    Srle

to name but a few from here alone.
I think we already have had a mention of some great releases on token, particularly from Innigo Kennedy and Also Ashley Phase.

    The list goes on.

    LOL @ this thread!!!!!

cheers to EVERYBODY for ALL feedback..... my techno "heroes" right now are SMEAR from glasgow (damn he and his crew have brought down the bpms without wimping out!!! ****ing class), SIMSY (if anyone was ever entitled to the title "legend" it is ben) and BROKEN NOTE on the dub side.... these are people putting quality INSPIRING vinyl into the market!!!!

this thread could be about techno heroes in general i think a thread just about me would be mighty short hahah

    on the other hand:

i think the trick is that while many artists fall off and never get back on the horse, i try to take my lickings and keep on ticking hahahah

    aaaanyway cheers all : )

    Maybe he meant mansion?

You are pretty stately, and have multiple bathrooms.
