javier mascherano is fed up with life in England and wants a switch to Barcelona - according to his agent.
The Liverpool midfielder, 25, has been heavily linked with a Nou Camp move but boss Rafa Benitez insists he is not for sale.
But the Argentine's agent Walter Tamer said: "Barcelona is the easiest deal to set up as Javier wants to go to Spain. He is tired of life in England.
"His wife has not been given a permanent visa. She has to go through an odyssey each time she wants to go.
"Liverpool refuse to sell, this can be overcome with an extraordinary offer."

i think rafa will let alonso go tho for an amazing offer, we could use the money to get a more attacking midfielder like silva.id be happy with that.

quite surpised at this tbh, just as I thought the mascherano rumours were dying down coz of xabi this shit comes out......its only his agent thats come out and said this but still will not be happy if he actually does wanna leave...
i think liverpool could handle losing masch if alonso stays but if both were to go id be very worried..
