Hi guys quite new here and to the whole production scene but here is one of my more recent efforts it's on my soundcloud not sure how to link the song direct but it's the one called "Science is on offer" it's a minute long track to go into a small mix my mate and I are doing of just minute long tracks to keep things interesting!!

Welcome To the Filez section Pd2h,
Good work on your track, nice pads, and a good vocal to sit over the top.
the kick sounds lost in the mix though, I think that you wanted to keep it subtle but you could try to EQ the bottom end, maybe a 3db or so boost on an 80hz low shelf filter would give it a bit more weight.

@ Curly I will try that on the kick I know what you mean about it getting a little lost will see if that makes the difference.
I am using Ableton live 7 can't afford 8 quite yet. Not much other stuff really have a uc33 and x-board 49, also just using some free VST's at the moment.
