    what an amazing night

the forward strategy group pa was awesome in that dirty basement, i thought i'd be in there all night tbh, but we went upstairs to see jeroen liebregts and then stayed in the main room, jeroen's set was incredible, despite the slight technical issues, and go hiyama played an absolute belter, what a legend, a.paul was class too

i need a copy of FSG's set as well. I'll pop him an email tonight, see if he recorded it and whether it can be released.

cracking night all in all, great crowd & hiyama was the superb in the main room. FSG was the highlight for me though, superb set!

Just about come back to life now, so must have been a good 'un! Was my first time there, and had a quality night. The venue is ace, especially the dark, dirty warehouse feel of the basement, and the massive industrial looking fans in the main room. Sound systems were spot on, security friendly, & the bar was well staffed (hardly any queues!). Some great sets, I think my favourite would be A.Paul. Fingers crossed they will be posted up for download (hint, hint...)

My only gripe about the whole night (literally) was Smear's set. I don't know if there were technical probelms or what, but the volumes of tracks were often *really* different when he was mixing, so a track would come, in suddenly and blow your ear off, far too loud and distorted. Not what you want during the last set, at 5:30am, already feeling pretty messy and tender!!!

Overally a quality night, and I'd reccommend Detached to anyone!

smear's a great dj so it was probably something technical although no one came to tell me about it. i was hammered in the bar knocking the sambucas back at that time so missed it all. hope your ears have recovered.

glad you and everyone else enjoyed it though.
good venue eh?! we love it.

The venue is amazing, seriously! I was chatting to a couple of the lads on the coach who'd been to Detached before, and they were going on about these giant fans... Gotta see 'em to believe 'em! It gives a really dark, mechanical, very Techno feel to the place, and that basement is pure warehouse party. Really a quality place for a Techno club night!
