    Default [HARD TRANCE] Monotone -Serotonine

This I made with reason 2.5 and cubase sx. Its a Hardtrance song with techno influences. Strong bass and melodic sounds. I made it in a week or so, just now and then a couple of hours spent on it. I like the mix between de melody of the hardtrance and the "drive" of the techno (techno-like percussion etc).

    hi.

like the bass sound and it's nice and dark. :)

i like the way it builds up to the main riff and then the way it drops back to the bass and percussion.

the only thing i would say it is it could do with more snares in the break parts. just to build it up slightly more before it comes back in.

i like the tune. though. dark stuff is the way forward!! ;)

yeah I supose you're right. Couple of snares added in the break will make it more swinning. But I like the 'clearnes' of the break as well so, thats why I left it more minimalistic.

    Thxs 4 the comment ! :D

10/10 for originality and ideas! spot on mate....

its productions like this which all the big producers need to take note of, and learn from... its really pushing some boundaries mate, fusing various elements of techno, hardstyle, hard trance. Really quality stuff.

In terms of the production its pretty kewl man, wanna get the bottom end a bit more punchy imo, and sharpen a few sounds up with some eqing, but its pretty good already. All the instruments work nicely alongside each other. :)

 - cool tune man! keep em comin!
