Soundcard Selection? Help...

Hi everyone,

These two soundcards are similar in price & similar in quality/reviews, the major difference being one is USB & the other is Fire-Wire, which is the better option for me in your opinion:

Focusrite Saffire LE (Fire-Wire)

OR

M-Audio Fast Track Pro (USB)

What do you think?

Need some advice on advantages & disadvantages, I don't mind which way I go with what they can do but interested in what you all think, thanks heaps!!

Can't really say on definite ads disads but from what I have read on other forums it is best to steer clear of M-audio soundcards not the best in the world and prone to berakdown audio drop outs etc.

just wondering - cos somebody warned me off fire wire cos apple are dropping it - new macbook doesn't have a fire wire port.

Firewire is still on macbook pro's, i think they dropped it from the macbook because its less expensive to make the newer macbooks without it and most people are not bothered by the difference in the connection speeds. Firewire its faster than usb so i'd go with it.
