    Default STUDIO MONITORING????

Ok next big question how important is studio monitoring. From what I have been reading the most imp things are compression, compression, good soundcard & decent monitors.

How much do I have to spend to get decent monitors?? Is there any such thing as cheap decent monitors???
I am planning on spending £200 on a pair but would it be better just saving up for another year and buying some more expensive ones...or could I get along just fine with a set of £200 monitors.

    Any help appreciated...cheers Janet :D

monitoring is important - but it's all dependant on what level you're at...

i've had alesis monitor 1's for the last 6 years.. no probs whatsoever...

i've had releases out on all sorts of good labels...

but now i realise i need new monitors to take my production further... i'm going for the mackie's/ :=]

my advice is get monitor ones.. i love these speakers/..
you're not going to notice the difference until you seriously learn production years down the line.
