sample search help!

i'm looking for a dry recording of a single hit from a piccolo snare.
a loop is fine too as long as it has a single dry hit in there somewhere.

Orchestra sample cds are bloody expensive.

any help or a lead in the right direction would be most appriciated.

have you tried the orkestra sound bank on reason2? or dorumalaya website has individual hit packs( http://www.dorumalaia.com/freerefillswavsamples.htm ). not sure bout a piccolo snare, but then i dont know what the **** that is anyway. that might put you in the right direction.

there must be one in there somewhere there's 239 of 'em anyway some acoustic, some electronic
