Dongle Protection Help Needed :(

i've just had a new dongle re-sent to me by Steinberg for SX2 cause my old one broke. T
the problem is I just can't get the Sycosoft D/L application to download me the licence!
Ii've plugged the device in > it brings up the add new hardware wizard. next > hardware is installed correctly.

OK, so then the control centre tree in the syncosoft app says>

usb device
>steinberg
>collection
>cubase sx2x
>OMF

i go > licence download

that takes me into the licence d/l wizard.

i click next and input my authorisation code and enter - the tree comes up.

but it's different it says:

licence
>steinberg
>(UPGRADE) collection ???????????????????
> cubase sx2x
> OMF

and then when i click NEXT it goes to the Select Licence to Upgrade screen and gives me a error saying 'there was no licence upgrade to be found, the licence to be upgraded should be in the protection device.'

why is it doing this? i don't need an upgrade i just want the licence. and it seems like there is a screen to do this in the d/l wizard but it's just not letting me get to it.


ps i've d/led the latest version of the syncrosoft thing from the ftp server and still no joy.
