    Default Babaorum Records

Now I know this stuff is'nt exactly hardstyle. However, i've picked up a few records to play with hardstyle. (especially the really gabber-e italian stuff off of Italian Masters of hardstyle.)

This music follows the principles of techno but works with a hardcore-gabber bass line. I found this on sector-1.com and am curious to know what genre this would be considered so i could find more stuff like this label.

    I REALLY Dig.

here are two samples (one of the records i bought)

also reminds me of a non-funky chicago house

They describe it as "belgian jump-up". i've never heard the term, but maybe it's because im a canadian who's behind on the trends and have no idea to whats going on outside of the hard trance productions in europe.

The style is indeed called Belgian Jump, it's a fairly new genre. I like some of it, but some of it isn't to my taste.

I'm pretty sure Babaorum is a french label.

yeah. some of it seems very boring. Get's old quick. However, some of sector-1 seems interesting. I could pitch this stuff up and play it with hardcore pretty easily...

or, to give a bit more of a gabber bang to and hard techno (or even bootie house?)
